The Goal: Each dream is represented by a sketch. You have completed the jury process once you have rated all sketches on your Jury page. A big screen smartphone, tablet or PC is recommended.
Pre-requisite: Log into Instagram and Follow your assigned Jury Page
The Jury platform is Instagram. Sign into your existing Instagram account or sign up for a new account at https://www.instagram.com/
Once you have logged in successfully, go to your assigned Jury page and request to Follow.
Your Jury page is either dreamonindia.jury.alpha or dreamonindia.jury.beta (mentioned in email sent to you). These are private account pages. Once we accept your request, you will have access to your Jury page.
Step 1: Rate sketch (required)
Start rating with the first sketch you see on the Jury page and go down sequentially until you are done rating all the sketches.
Click icon, type in a number between 1 and 5, and post it. Refer to example shown in the image.
Once you post the rating, you will be able to view it along with the other comments. You can also delete the rating if you’d like.
Criteria for Rating
To select the dreams that would go into the “Book of Dreams”, please keep this checklist in mind while rating the dream, in no particular order:
Step 2: Share thoughts on the sketch (optional)
If you'd like to also share your thoughts on the sketch, please post them as a separate comment.
Repeat Step 1 until you are done with all the sketches on your Jury page.
Kindly email avi@play2transform.com when you complete rating all the dreams.
That’s it! We are done…
Good luck and thank you for being a part of this wonderful journey !!

Post rating (scale 1-5) by adding a comment to the sketch
By the way, we’ve also provided a motivating PROGRESS BAR that appears at regular intervals on your page. This is to help you remember where you are in your journey, in case you decide to take a breather and come back later to complete the process.

Will I be featured in the "Book of Dreams"?
Yes. Jury members who complete this process will be mentioned in the Book of Dreams. Check out the Jury galleries at the end of the page.
What does the Jury look like?
We have a jury of around 50 members from all over India and countries such as USA, UK, Finland, Kenya, China, Thailand and New Zealand. They come from backgrounds related to education, child well-being and development, psychology, research, design, technology, innovation, humanities and social sciences. View their profiles here.
What dreams do I have access to?
As you are aware, we have captured thousands of dreams from all over India. Because every child's dream is special, we have provided visibility to all dreams by uploading them to our interactive Map of Dreams.
For this jury process, our team has shortlisted around 450 dreams from this repository of dreams. We have created 2 Jury groups (Alpha, Beta) and assigned you to one of these groups. Each group has access to 200-250 dreams.
What are the timelines?
17th March to 21st April, 2019. This is a 5-week window to rate all the sketches in your jury page. While you are free to complete this at your own pace, we recommend rating around 50 dreams per week.
What are we trying to achieve? Is there a criteria or checklist while rating the sketches?
The idea is to see the future of India through the eyes of our children. It is imperative to have a fair representation of children's dreams and aspirations across socioeconomic groups in India. The checklist has been provided in the process guide.
Why are we rating the dreams?
We are requesting you to rate the dreams that would go into the “Book to Dreams”. This enables us to select the highest-rated dreams in a democratic manner. Kindly refrain from comparing dreams with each other. Each child’s dream should be treated in isolation.
How will I be able to read through dreams in languages?
For the jury process, we are only keeping sketches, not letters. This is because many of the letters are not very legible and then we have the language problem. Also we believe in the power of visualization and want the jury to enjoy interpreting the dreams and empathize with the child through this form of expression. We will take some letters or include content from the letters in the final Book of Dreams.
What happens to the selected dreams?
The “Book of Dreams” will be mostly VISUAL with a story wrapped around it. Our creative team (writer and designer) will tie a holistic story together from a child’s point of view. We are also linking all the selected dreams to UN sustainability goals.
Once the jury process is done, we should have a fair idea of the dreams that will go into the printed version of the Book of Dreams. We are also considering an e-book version so that we can accommodate more dreams and make them interactive. That’s the plan!
