More than 10,000 hand-made submissions were sent by children across India, making this the largest social initiative to ever capture dreams of children visualizing the future of India!
We thank each and every child for their exquisite contributions.
For us, every child's dream is special, so we provided visibility to all dreams on our Map of Dreams! As you know, it is feasible to include only a portion of these awesome contributions in the print version of the Book of Dreams. So a special global jury along with the play2transform team carefully funneled this massive number down to dreams of around 150 children for the Book of Dreams.
While selecting the entries and designing the Book of Dreams, our sincerest endeavor was to make sure a diverse variety of aspirations and dreams from a fair representation of children across India are covered in the book. To make the book actionable with a strong purpose, these dreams are grouped under People, Planet and Prosperity and aligned them with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Each dream is a unique story, waiting to be experienced!
A huge heartfelt thank you to our partner NGOs, participating schools and distribution partners, sponsors and crowdfunding contributors, for being a part of this journey. A journey that has put so many dreams on the path to realisation.
Thank you for allowing children to dream up the future of the India they will live in!
